AI Editing
Configure how your workspace edits photos with REMO AUTO, the built-in AI editor.
Open Advanced → Settings → Integrations, then find the REMO AUTO section.
Enabling AI Editing
REMO AUTO runs on one or more editing engines, each shown as its own card (Autoenhance and AutoHDR). There is no single master switch — AI editing becomes available for your jobs as soon as at least one engine is enabled.
Each engine card shows its capabilities and billing, with two controls:
- Enable toggle - turn that engine on or off. At least one engine must stay enabled, so you can't switch them all off.
- Set default - mark this engine as the default for new AI jobs. The default card shows a Default badge.
Choosing the Default Engine
The default engine is used for any job routed to AI editing unless you choose a different one. Use Set default on an engine card to change it. Managers can override the engine for a single job at routing time, so the default is just the starting point.
For the full breakdown of engines, billing modes, and how AI editing fits into the job flow, see the AI Editing (REMO AUTO) guide.
Client Delivery
Control how clients receive and download their finished media.
Require Payment Before Download
Open Advanced → Settings → General and turn on Require payment before clients can download to gate downloads behind payment.
When this setting is on:
- Clients can see their finished photos but cannot download them until the job is paid.
- A download unlocks automatically once the client pays, or when you click Mark paid on the job.
- You can override the gate per job from each job's deliverables, so a trusted client can be released without payment (or an individual job can be force-locked).
This setting is off by default, so existing behavior is unchanged until you enable it.
The gate only affects downloads. Clients always see their delivery page and thumbnails. For the client's side of this experience, see the Media Delivery guide.
Job Lifecycle
Keep your operations board clean by flagging stale jobs and archiving delivered work. These settings live under Advanced → Settings.
Stale Threshold
Set how many days a job can sit in one stage before it is flagged Stale on the Pipeline. Stale jobs get a subtle visual treatment and an inline prompt to take action (advance the job, mark it completed, or archive it). The default is 30 days. Delivered jobs are never flagged.
Auto-Archive Delivered Jobs
Turn on Auto-archive delivered jobs to automatically move delivered jobs off the active operations board after a set number of days. Archiving:
- Touches no media - it only flags the job as archived and removes it from the active board.
- Runs only on jobs the client has already received (
delivered). Active work is never auto-archived. - Keeps the job visible to the client, with an In storage badge.
When enabled, choose how many days after delivery a job is archived (default 30 days). This setting is off by default.
For more on job stages, the Pipeline, and archiving, see the Job Management guide.
