Booking
Every job starts as a booking. Bookings come in two ways, and both use the same steps.
Two ways to book
Your booking page. Clients book on your own page at remo-app.com/book/your-studio. No
account needed, just an email.
New booking. You book for a client. Press the New booking button on the Jobs board, or press ⌘K and type new booking.
The steps
The price updates as you go.
Where — the property address. If it's outside the areas you cover, your travel fee is added.
What — the property size, then the services. Prices come from your catalog. Packages show what's inside. Extras only appear when they fit the order.
When — a calendar of open times. REMO only shows times inside your hours, past your notice period, and free for a photographer who can do the job.
Booked — the client's name and email, a note if they have one, and done.
If a client wants a time that's inside your notice period, they can ask for it. The ask shows up in your Feed. You accept or decline.
What happens next
- The job appears on the Jobs board with an order number.
- A photographer is assigned. If you've set REMO to propose instead of act, the assignment waits in your Feed for your OK.
- The client gets a confirmation email. The photographer gets the assignment. Slack gets a line, if it's connected.
Changing a booking
Reschedule. Open the job, choose Reschedule… from the ⋯ menu, pick a new time. REMO checks the time is free and may swap the photographer. Clients can reschedule from the portal too, up to 24 hours before the shoot, unless you've set a different rule.
Change the order. Edit services & size… in the ⋯ menu. The price is recalculated. Nothing is charged or refunded on its own.
Cancel. Cancel job in the ⋯ menu. A job can be cancelled until the shoot happens. After that it moves on to editing and delivery.
When a client asks to move or change a booking, the ask arrives in your Feed as a card with a button to accept it and a button to decline.
